Freight Handling

Bench Depot ships approximately 700 orders each week. Due to our volume, we get excellent prices, and are happy to get a quote.

If you use our carrier, we handle every detail, and add the freight to the invoice.

If you use your favored carrier, we will need their name, phone number, and your account number. We will contact them for pick-up. -Some carriers don’t go to Tecate, CA 91980 on a regular basis. We will advise if there is a problem.

 

Freight Damage

About one in every 400 Bench Depot shipments suffers some degree of damage in transport. The carrier is legally responsible for reimbursing the loss, as long as the customer notes the damage on the shipping document.

(Its OK to ask the driver to stand-by while the damage to the outside packaging is removed for inspection).

Send us a note with a photo of the damage. We will immediately produce and send new product at no cost to you, and contact the carrier for reimbursement.

Exception: If you use your own contract carrier, then you will need to work with them.
